Men's t-shirt to child's t-shirt

My daughter has a field trip this week and she has to wear a red shirt. I didn't think it was a big deal until I looked in her closet and she owns zero red shirts. I decided to try and make one myself. My husband has a bunch of these red shirts so I started cutting away.

Before

I made a pattern first by tracing one of my daughter's shirts. (I love drafting patterns that way). The only hard thing was trying to keep all the logos intact. Part of 'explorer' is gone, but I don't mind. I used the sleeves by making them smaller. I even used the collar. I like it and my daughter now has a red shirt :)

Easter dresses!

I made Easter dresses for my girls. I love how they turned out and loved making them! I followed this tutorial on Craftiness is not optional. I love her blog and all of her awesome tutorials!! I put invisible zippers in the dresses and it worked! I am scared of zippers and tend to stay away from them unless my mom is in town helping me :)
